With the new rate plan changes, you can enjoy more data each month at a lower price point. It’s just one more way we show just how much we love our Walmart family.
There are two major rate changes to look forward to this year. For one, the $39.88 Unlimited plan now has 14GB of high-speed 4G LTE† data, then 2G* thereafter. Second, the $49.88 Truly Unlimited plan now comes with 5GB of hotspot data (Video typically streams at DVD quality).
With both plans, you’re able to add up to 4 lines for only $24.88/month each. That way, your whole family can join in on the savings.
What’s a hotspot?
To make sure you know what you’re getting, here’s a reminder about what the mobile hotspot feature is all about. Essentially, your cellphone has data. This allows you to access the Internet, stream videos, and more. But you can actually open up that connection to allow other Wi-Fi-enabled devices to use that data when you’re on the go.
For example, if you’re trying to get work done on your laptop but you can’t access the Wi-Fi, you can simply turn on your mobile hotspot and pair it with your laptop. Think of it as a portable Internet connection. When you select the Truly Unlimited plan, now you’ll get 5GB of hotspot data to use each month.
